We are recruiting a great opportunity for someone at the start of their HR Career, working for a large Household name, you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, across HR, Recruitment and Payroll. You will be working closely with the HR Business Partner and get exposure to most of the HR Function.

This is an ideal role for an HR administrator with 1 to 2 year's experience. The role is an immediate start and will be for approx. 5 months. Based on site with a flexible start and finish time.

You will assist the HR Team to deliver a first-class employee experience across the HR generalist field.

What You'll Be DoingAs a key member of the HR team, you'll provide all-round administrative support to managers and colleagues, ensuring our HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all HR admin processes including onboarding and offboarding
  • Support in processing payroll inputs (weekly and monthly) accurately and on time
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR systems (SAP, MYHR, T&A) are kept up to date
  • Track absence, return to work, and fit note documentation
  • Provide support for maternity/paternity leave, sickness absence, and other HR policies
  • Help manage recruitment admin - job adverts, interviews, onboarding
  • Respond to employee queries and monitor the HR inbox
  • Support with HR projects and site engagement activities

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in an HR admin or coordinator role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Friendly, professional, and able to handle sensitive information
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Good administrative and organisational skills.
  • IT literate - be proficient in the use of MS Office applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

Desirable

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of working within a HR team completing transactional tasks, with evidence of advising managers on day to day HR queries.
  • Confident using HR systems (SAP experience is a bonus)
