The firm is now seeking a Family Solicitor to take a lead role in its Leek office, heading up a small family law department following a recent leadership change. This is a key position offering autonomy, experienced secretarial support and the opportunity to manage a diverse and rewarding caseload, including complex and high-value family law matters.
The Role:
- Lead and manage the family/matrimonial law department
- Handle a full caseload of family law matters—ranging from divorce and financial settlements to children matters, including high-value and complex cases
- Provide mentorship and oversight to an experienced legal executive
- Deliver excellent client care while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with two experienced senior secretaries for smooth case management
- Contribute to business development and help grow the department’s workload

- Has solid experience in family/matrimonial law, including handling complex and high value matters independently

- Values high professional standards and exceptional client service
- Is comfortable working with both paper-light and traditional file systems
- Can commit to regular in-office presence (minimum 3–4 days per week)
