ERP Procurement Lead needed in Stoke Paying  £350 per day ref 5273998

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Duties
  • Oversee procurement workflows within the ERP system, ensuring smooth and effective purchasing processes.
  • Partner with internal teams to assess procurement requirements and offer expert advice on best practice approaches.
  • Maintain and manage contract registers, ensuring full compliance with government procurement legislation.
  • Leverage SAP Ariba and S4Hana to optimise procurement functions and improve data integrity.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with the Procurement Act 2023 and other applicable regulations.
  • Design and execute procurement strategies that support financial goals and operational priorities.
  • Produce and deliver analytical reports to stakeholders, offering actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with a proven ability to interpret and reconcile complex datasets.
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced environments and adapting to evolving business demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis tools.
  • Deep understanding of public sector procurement practices and systems.
  • Familiarity with managing contract registers in regulated settings.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba and S4Hana is highly advantageous
