Customer Service Professional (Asset Finance)

Location: SL2 4JS, Stoke Poges (Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office, usually Wednesday & Thursday)

Contract: Full-time, 6 Months

About the Role

Randstad Sourceright are recruiting on behalf of a leading Asset Finance Company (SFS) for an enthusiastic and service-focused Customer Service Professional.

You will be a key member of a supportive Operations Team, dedicated to providing an unrivalled, outstanding service to all internal and external customers. This high-volume role involves managing complex financial agreement queries and providing frontline support via telephone, letter, and email, actively embodying the company values: Responsible, Excellent & Innovative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Communication: Effectively liaise with internal and external customers via telephone, letter, and e-mail to respond to high volumes of queries and requests in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Financial Administration: Process transfer requests, financial amendments, and refund requests on customer contracts within regulatory and industry time-scales.

  • Record Management: Ensure all customer records within the CRM system are kept accurate and up to date, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.

  • Revenue & Compliance: Maximise upon revenue opportunities (e.g., capturing sales-leads, collecting transfer/admin fees), effectively dealing with potential debt issues, and working strictly to industry and regulatory guidelines (FOS, FCA, FLA).

  • Team Support: Pro-actively support other team members, including taking switchboard and customer calls, sharing workloads during peak periods, and contributing to a positive team environment.

About You (Essential Requirements)

You will be a highly motivated individual with a proven ability to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment:

  • Experience: Proven track record in offering exceptional service to customers (internal and external) via telephone and in writing.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional telephone manner.

  • Skills: Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.

  • IT Proficiency: Strong computer literacy, including experience using Microsoft Office packages.

  • Background: Experience working within a dedicated Customer Services team.

Desirable

  • Experience in a Financial Services background, particularly Asset Finance, and/or a business-to-business (B2B) environment.

  • Knowledge of regulatory bodies such as FOS, FCA, and FLA.
