Job Title: CNC Operator
Department: Machine Shop
Location: Stonehouse
Reports to: Production Team Leader
The Role
You’ll be responsible for operating CNC machinery within our Machine Shop, producing precision components to exacting standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring product quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate one or more CNC machines.
- Carry out daily machine checks and keep accurate records.
- Report non-conformances and minimise scrap.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
- Support apprentices and new team members.
- Work with the Production Team Leader to meet delivery targets.
What We’re Looking For
- Engineering qualification/apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- CNC machine competence, with basic programming knowledge.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and follow instructions.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
What’s on Offer
- Pay:  £26,832 + £7,785 shift allowance (37.5 hrs/week). Up to  £34,617 package
- Shifts: Double Days – 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm.
- Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays.
