Job Overview
I am delighted to be working with a client that is new to the Midlands. I am seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance team, who can add practical skills and a positive attitude.
As a new and ambitious business, there will be almost unlimited access to development and a structured career path.
The main duties within this role will be:
- Assisting in the preparation of year end accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns and corporation tax computations
- Bank recs and ledger maintenance
- Delivering accurate financial data
- Preparation of management accounting information
- Handling customer queries and providing timely solutions and advice
- Overseeing transactions for cash flow purposes
As an individual, you will ideally have a strong background in general bookkeeping, with a proactive approach to your working day. You will have input into the growth plans for this business, and encouraged to offer insights into process development and improvement.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is perhaps already AAT qualified, or may be seeking support to complete their studies, who is seeking the next step in their career.
