Quality Process Engineer

Location: Stourbridge
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about product quality and continuous improvement? Our client is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Quality Process Engineer to join their team and play a key role in enhancing product quality and operational excellence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on solving problems, working with data, and being hands-on with quality tools and processes.



What You'll Be Doing:

  • Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on quality data to spot trends and drive improvements

  • Leading root cause analysis (RCA) teams to resolve product quality concerns using tools like 5 Whys, 8D, and corrective action tracking

  • Keeping internal and external stakeholders informed about quality issues and rejections

  • Supporting the implementation of process controls across production

  • Recording and managing internal and external rejects, scrap reviews, and customer returns

  • Creating and maintaining quality documentation including SOPs, quality alerts, and reports

  • Performing physical measurements using tools such as verniers and height gauges

  • Auditing processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement



What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a quality or process engineering role within manufacturing

  • Familiarity with quality tools and methods such as RCA, 5 Whys, 8D, etc.

  • Confident in using inspection equipment and interpreting technical data

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

  • A proactive mindset and a continuous improvement attitude

  • Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
