This school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join the team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons, as well as attending parent evenings to discuss student progress.


In this role, you will plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. They will assess and monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Additionally, they will collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression in the curriculum, attend parent evenings to communicate effectively with parents and carers, and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 4.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
