Our client is looking for a reliable and organised Administration Assistant to support day-to-day office operations. This is a part-time, fully office-based role ideal for someone with previous administrative experience and a strong team ethic.

About the Role

You'll be part of a small, friendly office team, providing essential administrative support to help keep operations running smoothly. Working closely with the Office Administrator, this is a varied and hands-on role that includes a mixture of front-of-house duties, client administration, and general office support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reception duties including call handling, managing post and deliveries, and welcoming visitors
  • Preparing refreshments for meetings and maintaining a professional front-of-house experience
  • Monitoring and reordering office supplies as needed
  • Updating internal systems, including client and contact records
  • Assisting with the preparation of documentation such as engagement letters and verification forms
  • Supporting mailings and other client communications
  • General administrative tasks including photocopying, scanning, document binding, and event support

About You

You're an organised and adaptable individual who enjoys supporting others and takes pride in attention to detail. You thrive in a team environment but can also work confidently on your own initiative.

Essential:

  • Minimum GCSE grade C/4 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, reliable, and calm under pressure
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks
  • A discreet and confidential approach, with awareness of GDPR and data protection best practices

Desirable:

  • Experience using document management systems
  • Familiarity with working in a professional services or regulated environment
