Our client us a leader in supplying food processing and packaging machinery to the food processing and manufacturing industries in the UK and Ireland. With 28 years of experience and partnerships with 11 European equipment manufacturers, they are looking for a Service Administrator to provide exceptional after-sales service and support from our office.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide office-based after-sales service and support to a diverse range of customers.
- Handle quotations, ordering, delivering, and invoicing of parts and services.
- Quote for preventative maintenance and chargeable work.
- Perform various service administration tasks as required.
- Engage in face-to-face interactions with customers, focusing initially on the sales of all chargeable service and spare parts items to existing customers.
- Opportunity to expand into sales of new equipment and projects.
- Good to strong mechanical and electrical background.
- Experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to make decisions and function autonomously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a clear ability to think under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to operate comfortably in a customer-facing environment.
- Desirable:
- CAD/SolidWorks knowledge, and German or Dutch language skills.
