Akkodis are partnering with a highly reputable client in the Insurance/Financial Services sector on the expansion of their IT Risk & Controls team. You will be joining an established team who focus on four core areas: Risk Management Framework, Controls Assessment Framework, Internal/External Audits and Risk Assessments.
Following extensive improvements and the implementation of an extensive controls catalogue, the team are now looking for an IT Risk and Controls Specialist to join their team and assist in the testing of the controls that are already in place across the full landscape of applications. This will be working in conjunction with a large scale transformation programme and ensuring the controls have been fully tested and audited pre-migration.
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- An extensive background supporting clients with IT Controls and Risk testing
- COBIT experience
- Internal Audit experience
- Experience in Insurance or a regulated environment would be desirable
- Experience with relevant governance frameworks would be desirable
- ITIL v3 certified or above would be highly beneficial
This an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend and the role has been deemed inside IR35. You will be required to work onsite in Stratford-Upon-Avon 1 day a week, the client would also be happy with you working onsite 2 consecutive days every 2 weeks. We are looking for somebody to start the role ASAP.
