TRIbuild Solutions are hiring a Freelance Site Agent on behalf of our client – a leading civil engineering and infrastructure specialist with over 40 years of experience across water, transport, built environment, and energy sectors.

The Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Site Agent from a Civil Engineering background to manage the construction and delivery of various projects, ensuring high standards of health, safety, quality, and cost control. You’ll work closely with the Contracts Manager, Project Manager, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee successful delivery of civil, water, rail and other complex engineering projects.
  • Manage project programmes and produce 2-week lookaheads.
  • Ensure commercial performance and maximise project value.
  • Produce and implement Project Plans, RAMS, ITPs, Lifting Plans and Waste Management Plans.
  • Lead site meetings, maintain accurate records, and produce reports.
  • Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.
  • Manage subcontractors and site resources effectively.
  • Drive value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.

About You:
Essential:

  • Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, and cost control.
  • CPCS Appointed Persons: Lifting Operations A61
  • CSCS Mandatory, IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator and confined space training.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing civil engineering projects in a regulated environment.

Desirable:

  • CEng MICE or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
