Sawmill Production Operative

ARC is currently seeking a Production Operative for ongoing work at a sawmill in Stratton Strawless. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy team with potential for long-term employment.

As a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in maintaining a tidy and efficient wood yard. Your responsibilities will include:

• 07:00-17:00 

• Monday to Friday

• Keeping the yard clean and organised

• Moving wood fence panels and posts

• Loading finished products onto vehicles

• Learning to operate cutting machinery (full training provided)

• You will need your own transport due to client location 

This is a Monday to Friday position.

• PAYE: £12.21 per hour

• PAYE (Annualised Holiday Pay): £13.68 per hour

While previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment is preferred, it's not essential as full on-site training will be given. We're looking for someone who is:

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects

• Reliable and hardworking

• Possesses good attention to detail

• Has a willingness to learn new skills

Please note: Due to the client's location, your own transport is essential. You will also need to provide your own PPE (Safety Shoes, Hi-Vis, Gloves).
