If you have experience in mechanical fitting or assembly, we want to hear from you!Location: StroudWorking Hours: 07:30-1630, Monday to Thursday (early finish on Fridays)Salary: £30,000Benefits: Monthly performance bonuses As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll play a crucial role in producing company products to high standards, following detailed instructions from drawings and supervisors.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform sub-assembly production fitting and final assembly tasks.
  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic components.
  • Assist in building fabricated assemblies from scratch, utilising various skills.
  • Strictly adhere to the Company's Health and Safety policies.
  • Undertake any other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Engineering background with experience in an engineering role.
  • Ability to interpret manufacturing and assembly drawings.
  • Attention to detail and strong teamwork ethic.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Verify assemblies for alignment, dimensions, and quality.
  • Experience in vehicle fabricating/fitting is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
  • Background in Aviation, Military, Marine, or related industries advantageous.
