Role: Production Technician
Contract: Outside IR35
Location: Onsite / Hybrid depending on project needs
Overview
A skilled and detail-oriented Production Technician is required to support the assembly and testing of electrical and computer-based components. This role is key to ensuring all products meet strict quality, safety and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and test electrical and computer-based systems with precision and care.
Maintain accurate production and assembly records; escalate technical issues quickly.
Perform mechanical assembly tasks following strict quality and safety processes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and QA.
Maintain a customer-focused approach in all production activities.
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong understanding of computer hardware components.
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and core applications.
High level of manual dexterity and attention to detail in hands-on assembly work.
Physically capable of handling the demands of an active production environment.
Soldering experience to J-STD standard.
Working awareness or certification in IPC-620 standards.
Desirable
Experience in cable assembly, harnessing, and loom construction.
Familiarity with IPC-610 and IPC-620 standards.
Understanding of mechanical assembly techniques and associated standards.
