- Prepare and submit AP1 and FR1 applications to the Land Registry within the required priority periods
- Handle requisitions from HM Land Registry within the specified time limits, with support from fee-earners as needed
- Provide timely updates and respond to queries from mortgage lenders and clients regarding the status of registrations
- Liaise with landlords and management companies to obtain receipts for Notices of Assignment/Charge, and address follow-up enquiries with assistance from a fee-earner where appropriate
- Dispatch completed registration documents, including any necessary deeds or indemnity policies, to clients and/or mortgage lenders
- Keep the team informed of any updates or changes to the registration process
- Ensure compliance with the Land Registry portal’s terms and conditions when submitting applications
- Report to the Head of Department any cases that may pose a risk of panel removal by a lender or potential negligence claims
- Complete file closure procedures on purchase matters, ensuring all documentation has been returned and account balances are cleared
