Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Combi Operator/Loader to join a manufacturing facility based in Henstridge. The facility specialises in producing high-quality steel products for a variety of industries, and they are looking for a diligent individual to join their team.
Key Duties:
- Pick and collate steel to order and prepare it for loading onto lorries.
- Identify and locate different products.
- Use measuring equipment to ensure that the correct quantities are picked and sorted for each order.
- Replenish stock and keep track of inventory.
- Batch and allocate steel, making sure that it is organised and ready for shipment.
Requirements:
- Good eye for detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with heavy machinery.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
- Ideally, previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with different types of steel and their uses (training will be provided for the right candidate).
