Electronics Assembler
Location: Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey (TW16)
Salary: £28k -£32k
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team. You’ll be responsible for building, testing, and repairing electrical assemblies while ensuring products meet exacting quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, excellent soldering skills, and the ability to follow technical drawings and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test electronic and electro-mechanical components to drawings and specifications
- Carry out inspections, upgrades, and repairs of assemblies and finished products
- Use hand tools, crimping tools, and measuring equipment (e.g., torque drivers, micrometers, verniers)
- Maintain assembly equipment and complete relevant documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and 5S activities within production
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers, and visitors, communicating clearly at all levels
About You
- Proven experience in electronic assembly, including soldering small components
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings, SOPs, and CMMs
- Knowledge of electronic components and assembly tooling
- Strong attention to detail with a logical, methodical approach
- Team player with good time management and communication skills
- Flexible, professional, and able to perform under pressure
