Mechanical Assemblers urgently required to work an AM Shift for a specialist engineering and manufacturing business based near Woking, We are looking for experienced fitters and assemblers who can work to engineering drawings and build a wide range of mechanical products, lifting and access equipment. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a new challenge, who wants to put your assembly, fitting and production experience to the test!
Shift pattern: Monday - Thursday 6:30am- 2:30pm, Friday 6:30am - 1.30pm
These roles have been created due to huge investment following a number of massive contract wins resulting in an 18 month full order book and requirement for a new shift! This role has the opportunity for real career progression into a team Lead and then field service based roles, with live examples of fitters who are now travelling the world doing installations, repairs and maintenance, having started in the workshop.
- Mechanical Assembly/ Fitting of Steel and Aluminium equipment
- knowledge of Ground support, platforms, access and lifting equipment
- working to technical drawings and build sheets
- Use of hand tools and power tools
- Assembly of access structures, ground support equipment, and similar products.
- Packing and protection of parts and products.
- Work as part of a team
