The OpportunityI have a fantastic opportunity available to any Business Analysts who are based in the North East and are looking for a new challenge. With the organisation going through an exciting transformation journey, you will be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of business analysis and improvement activities in relation to both end-to-end project and business-as-usual work. This role will play a key part in ensuring these transformation projects benefit from following business improvement methodologies to engage our people along the journey and to ensure the improvements are sustained.ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Business Analyst, you will partner across the group to provide business analysis and improvement expertise and input into Business and IT projects, business improvement and change activities.In the role of Business Analyst, you will utilise your knowledge and experience to support the Business to:-• Develop a deep understanding of what is important to our customers, colleagues and business partners in relation to the activity being completed.• Provide business analysis expertise using the most appropriate tools and techniques, collaborating with business stakeholders and completing end-to-end process re-design.• Use data to support decision-making through all business and improvement activity – focusing on the ā€œproblemā€ to be solved.• Offer constructive challenge in relation to current processes and ways of working ensuring the future state reflects industry and technology best practice.• Be aligned with the corporate strategy and proactively identify areas for business improvement that improve customer experience, value for money and realise commercial benefits.• Remain current in relation to business analysis and improvement best practice and evolve the Groups approach, tools and techniques based on this and organisation maturity.• Provide coaching as needed in relation to the Group’s business analysis approach to increase colleagues' awareness and capability.What you needWhat we are looking for:
  • Previous experience of working in a Business Analyst role within a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience of end-to-end business process mapping of ā€˜as is’ and ā€˜to be’ processes to support both technical and non-technical change.
  • Knowledge and experience of analysing KPIs - measuring success and demonstrating return of investment from a commercial and business perspective
  • Previous demonstrable experience of collaborating with key stakeholders across a business in an engaging and supportive way, providing constructive challenge where needed.
