The position is for an Engineering Technician in Sunderland, working a rotating 2-shift pattern from Monday to Thursday with a salary of up to £40,000.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry and possess HND/HNC qualifications.
The role involves multi-skilled maintenance with an electrical bias, including work on PLC-controlled machinery and robotic systems.
Candidates with additional qualifications such as the 18th Edition, Lean Manufacturing experience, and C&G Inspection & Testing are preferred.

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

2 SHIFT (MONDAY-THURSDAY) - 07:00-19:00/19:00-07:00 ROTATING

We are looking for a motivated engineer to join a market leading manfacturing company within the FMCG industry. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

- Multi-Skilled Maintenance - Electrical Bias

- Hydraulics & Pneumatics

- Continuous Improvement Work- PLC Controlled Machinery - Siemens S7 & Allen Bradley

- Planned & Reactive Maintenance

- Robotic Systems - Kuka & Fanuc

- Bottling, Filling, Canning, Seaming & Labelling Lines

Skills and Qualifications

- HND/HNC qualified

- 3 Years+ FMCG Experience

- 18th Edition - Desirable

- Lean Manufacturing Experience - Desirable

- C&G Inspection & Testing - Desirable

- PLC quals - Massively Advantageous
