This long-term role, starting in January, is vital for providing consistency during the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You'll work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCo to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and create a supportive, structured, and play-based learning environment.

Assist in adapting EYFS learning materials to ensure the curriculum is accessible and engaging through play.
Implement positive behaviour support strategies consistently.
Accurately monitor and record the pupil's progress, reporting regularly to staff.
Encourage the pupil's independence and self-esteem.

Proven, recent experience working 1:1 with a pupil diagnosed with Autism, ideally within the Early Years (Reception or Nursery).
A comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Excellent communication skills with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
A resilient, patient, and flexible approach, with specific experience in Early Years behaviour management.
Level 2 qualifications in Understanding Autism or Understanding Challenging Behaviour are highly desirable.
