My client is seeking a Group HR Manager to be the expert in people matters across their UK and European offices. This role is crucial in helping to set the tone of the employer they strive to be, with a current headcount of approximately 300. The ideal candidate will manage employment relations, provide coaching, support wellbeing matters, and lead HR projects within the region.

This is an amazing organisation with beautiful offices, where they work at pace as predominantly a Sales Organisation who are continually growing

Reporting to the HR Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage all employment relations matters in accordance with local employment legislation alongside local senior leadership.
  • Provide coaching on people-related matters to line managers up to board directors.
  • Represent HR in local board meetings as required.
  • Support wellbeing matters within the region, ensuring issues are escalated appropriately to provide the right support to employees.
  • Manage the application and renewal of work permits and visas as needed.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide executive summaries of key trends and recommendations.
  • Provide change management support during processes such as TUPE.
  • Develop and deliver training on various topics, including recruitment.
  • Serve as an active member of the Health and Safety Committee.
  • Lead on ad hoc projects that may be specific to the region or have a global impact.
  • Deputise for the HR Director in her absence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a senior HR partner within a sales organisation.
  • Must have some experience with European employment law, particularly Working Time regulations
  • CIPD level 5 or equivalent working experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven experience in keeping abreast of changing employment law and trends.
  • Ability to travel as required to Europe
  • A positive and confident personality
  • Commercial HR solutions experience
  • A sense of humour and resilience to work in this fast paced sales organisation
