Description
- Assist with the production of monthly management accounts.
- Provide financial support and insight to the wider business.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Conduct variance analysis and explain key movements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting exercises.
- Support in the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
- Handle ad-hoc financial queries and projects.
- Maintain a strong relationship with other departments to ensure finances are accurately reported.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A strong academic record, including a degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Relevant qualifications, such as ACCA or CIMA (part-qualified or fully qualified).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
