  • Manage allocated projects through a structured, gated process from the concept/quotation stage, right to production-handover + 90 days
  • To support the Technical and NPI team in all aspects of the Engineering function regarding new product / design change introduction including cost tracking
  • To assist manufacturing through optimising processes and work layouts etc. to ensure capacity is available, existing plant use is maximised, and material movement is minimised using simulations.
  • Actively implement, manage, and analyse continuous improvement activities using lean principles and tools such as PFMEA, Process Flow, Value Stream Mapping and standard operations
  • Find ways to reduce costs and maximize quality.
NPI Manufacturing EngineerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Ideally degree qualified, although other qualifications and relevant experience, particularly with an Automotive Tier 1 are also acceptable
  • At least 2 years relevant experience within a Manufacturing engineering environment
  • Experience of Lean, Kaizen and structured problem-solving tools
