We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised School Clerk to join our friendly and hardworking team. This vital role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced school environment, enjoys attention to detail, and has a passion for supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a school.

About the Role:As our School Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for many of our families and visitors. You will support the school's leadership team and Govourners office with a wide range of administrative tasks, ensuring everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records and databases (e.g. attendance, pupil data, school registers)

  • Support with admissions, correspondence, filing, and general office duties

  • Minute meetings and maintain records in line with statutory requirements

  • Liaise with staff, parents, governors, and external stakeholders

  • Assist with organising school events, communication, and daily operations

What We're Looking For:? Excellent written and verbal communication skills? Strong administrative and organisational abilities? Experience in a school setting (preferred but not essential)? Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school systems (e.g., SIMS/Bromcom desirable)? A calm, friendly, and professional approach? An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS Certificate (already in place and registered on the Update Service)
