About the Role:On behalf of our client, a well established and reputable organisation based in Sutton, we are seeking an experienced and driven Credit Control Manager to lead their credit control function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident professional to join a dynamic finance team and play a key role in managing the company’s cash flow and customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and managing a team of 4 credit controllers, ensuring efficient and effective operations
  • Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures
  • Monitor outstanding debts and ensure timely collection of payments
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to resolve payment issues professionally
  • Assess credit risk and set appropriate credit limits
  • Produce regular reports on debtor performance and cash flow
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support financial objectives

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in credit control, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
