Job Overview

We are currently looking for an experiencedCommissioning Engineerto support the commissioning ofthree 400kV AIS baysinterfacing with a nearbyHVDC substation. This is a key role within a high-voltage infrastructure project, requiring strong technical knowledge, planning skills, and site-based experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute commissioning activities for 400kV AIS equipment
  • Plan and prepareInspection Test Plans (ITPs)in line with project specifications
  • Act as the primaryon-site technical representativeto the client
  • Provide regular updates andreport progressto the Project Manager, Site Manager, and Commissioning Manager
  • Managetask cards, resource allocation, and testing equipmentduring commissioning phases

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent inElectrical Engineeringor related discipline
  • Proven track record inhigh-voltage commissioning, ideally with 400kV AIS systems
  • Experience working onHVDC interfaceprojects is a strong advantage
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a site-based team environment
  • Familiarity with industry standards and health & safety practice
