Stock and Inventory Control AssistantFull-Time, PermanentSwansea£35-39,000 per annumThis is an exciting new role for a candidate with experience of stock control (3 way matching) in the manufacturing industry! My client is looking for a highly organised and analytical individual to take on a strategically important role at their Swansea production site. You will need to have plenty of experience in manufacturing (ideally in FMCG), and a passion for accuracy; a background in stock control or possibly accounts payable (within a manufacturing and production field, with exposure to the right stock elements) are essential criteria for this position. You will need to have robust exposure to stock and inventory control in a fast-paced, mufti site organisation, as well as experience with a large industry ERP Sytem and tonnes of confidence with MS Excel! You will spend the vast majority of your time in the operations team, feeding back to finance and higher management. You will liaise closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure delivery notes are validated, and any discrepancies are accounted for.In order to be eligible for this position, you must have experience of working with bill of materials, supporting scheduled stock reconciliations, ensuring standard operating procedures are adhered to, monitoring and reporting on wastage, as well as monitoring stock movement and investigating variances. You will be responsible for ensuring that stock is managed and accounted for across the entire process; from receipt, through the production process and to its departure as a finished product.
