Sonic Summary

The job requires a proven technical ability in house building and construction, along with the capability to manage large, complex bespoke builds.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in house building, either from an engineering or trade background, or as a Site Manager.
The role offers a competitive salary, which is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to influence and build good working relationships.
Qualifications include an NVQ in construction at Level 4 or above, along with certifications such as the 5-day Site Manager Training Scheme and a CSCS Site Manager (Silver) card.

Key Capabilities Required

(1) Skills, Capabilities and attributes

Proven technical ability in house building and construction
Confidence at chairing and leading meetings
Ability to manage large, complex bespoke builds
Able to oversee a site team which may include an Assistant Site Manager and/or Site Manager
Ability plan, organise and monitor sub-contract activity on a day by day basis.
Accurate pre planning capability
Excellent communication skills, written and oral
Can build and maintain good working relationships

Customer focus

(3) Knowledge, Experience and Qualification

Past experience in house building either engineering or trade or from Site Manager
Proven track record in NHBC and/or other major awards
NVQ construction, Level 4 or above, or qualified by experience
5 day Site Manager Training Scheme
HSE approved First Aid Qualification
Scaffold Training is desirable
CSCS Site Manager (Silver)
Desirable CIOB standard
