We are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Systems Accountant for a well-established client in the Swindon area this is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to work for an amazing organisation that offers a great number of benefits.

Duration: 12 months Fixed Term Contract (FULLY REMOTE)

You will be helping to maintain and develop the organisations and customers’ financial systems, develop reports and provide support to users as part of a shared services.

Duties will include:

To provide support and maintain financial systems including, but not limited to, Integra and ExpenseMe Pro, and their interfaces for all customers.
To lead on financial systems reporting strategy, including creating, maintaining and enhancing reports (using Crystal Reports and XQuery), as well as the Excel based management information system and other management reporting tools.
To interrogate and manipulate the database (MS SQL) to resolve support issues.
To create and maintain systems support documentation.
To coordinate disaster recovery tests.
Identify and promote system-based process improvements.
To participate in financial systems development and related IT projects.
Work with software suppliers to implement new releases, resolving software issues and identifying areas for improvement.
Act as a contact for the provision of relevant data and analysis to internal and external parties on an ad-hoc basis, such as during audits. service.

Person Specification:

Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience of writing user guides or process notes
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
A clear and confident communicator at all levels with financial and non-financial colleagues
Excellent Systems understanding and previous system management experience
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Sound numeracy with the ability to prepare, analyse and manage methodically large amounts of data
Experience of working with and supporting financial systems
Experience of financial or performance reporting
