Robert Half are working in partnership with a renowned, forward thinking company in Swindon to recruit a Management Accountant role on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity that will be heavily involved preparing the monthly management accounts, business partnering with stakeholders and supporting with year-end accounting tasks. The Management Accountant role is a great role for someone that has proven management accounting experience and someone that is studying towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA and keen to establish a long-term successful career. The salary is between £38,000 - £42,000 plus study support, annual bonus and hybrid working.
The Role
The main duties of the Management Accountant role will consist of:
- Preparing monthly management accounts; balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting.
- General ledger reconciliations.
- Preparing quarterly VAT/tax returns.
- Business partnering with various stakeholders.
- Implementing processes/procedures when required.
- Support with preparation of statutory accounts at year end.
Requirements
To be considered for the Management Accountant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience:
- Must have management accounting experience.
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA studier or qualified by experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good team player.
- Highly organised.
- Confident user of Excel; ability to create pivot tables and lookups.
