Elevate Projects are working in partnership with our client, a local provider of affordable housing and registered social landlord, to appoint an experienced Building Surveyor to the buy Planned Maintenance team on a contract basis.
Working closely with asset managers, contractors, and stakeholders, you will be instrumental in ensuring that properties remain safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake condition surveys and produce detailed reports on property assets
- Develop and manage planned maintenance schedules, ensuring long-term asset integrity
- Prepare specifications, scopes of work, and cost estimates for maintenance works
- Oversee the procurement and delivery of maintenance projects, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and health & safety standards
- Provide technical advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders
- Contribute to asset management strategies and life-cycle planning
