Role: Learning LeadContract Length: 6 MONTHSLocation: Hybrid - mostly remote working but must be willing and able to travel toSwindon as and when requiredRequirements:• Experience of public sector procurement, tendering processes and bids (learning providers and platforms).• Understanding and use of Learning Management Systems platforms and system integration into Oracle Fusion• Experience of reporting evaluations and analysis of e-learning, learning courses and embedding - Kirk Patrick etc.• Experience in L&D or similar environment.• Ability to manage customer and stakeholder engagement groups- EDI, Wellbeing, Talent, learning providers etc.• Knowledge of design and delivery of Learning content- (Rise 360 etc.)• Ability to maintain the management of booking and scheduling training coursesJob Purpose:The Senior Learning and Development Manager will support CLIENT in achieving their people objectives through strategic guidance and advice.The Senior Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for the provision of strategic and operational support in designated areas of learning and development across CLIENT. The role will require the ability to:§ Lead the management and delivery of CLIENT workshop and digital learning catalogues.§ Liaise closely with Head of L&L, other Theme Leads and colleagues to build/maintain good relationships and work on joint activities; optimise staff utilisation and otherwise respond to team objectives.§ Ensure communication remains open and regular so that all parties are aware of their responsibilities.§ Build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, developing and influencing a strong network to facilitate effective working relationships.§ Lead area of responsibility, ensuring resource levels and skills meet fluctuating workloads throughout the year, making adjustments in employee deployment in order to improve efficiency.§ Act as a role model, using knowledge and expertise to motivate employees to deliver consistently high levels of performance and continuous improvement.§ Ensure that annual objectives are agreed with direct reports and that they receive regular 1-1s and performance evaluations.§ Promote a team-based culture where flexibility of approach and continuous improvement is encouraged.§ Provide constructive ideas for improvement in processes and procedures that would deliver further efficiencies and service enhancement.
