MLC Partners are seeking an experienced permanent Finance Business partner, to join a government funded organisation-based West of London (Swindon). Our client has multiple Business Partnering vacancies supporting various programmes.
Key responsibilities:
- Support senior leaders to effectively manage their budgets, providing timely and accurate financial information and advice.
- Effectively maintaining a strong working relationship with colleagues and partners across the wider organisation, understanding business objectives and seeking opportunities for improvement, change and efficiency.
- Manage the annual and multi-year budget setting and forecasting cycles.
- Line management responsibilities.
Key skillset criteria:
- Proficient understanding of management accounting, with demonstrated experience in delivering effective financial management and reporting.
- Proven experience in supporting with month and year-end processes, accruals, prepayment calculations and variance analysis.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, and an ability to provide high quality written and verbal advice to senior decision makers.
- An ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified, QBE or actively pursuing their qualification, and requires attendance to their office in Swindon one day per week. Salary of up to £45,272, plus additional benefits (Civil Service pension scheme, flexible working, learning and development opportunities).
