Reed practice are working with a firm of established accountants based in Swindon. They are looking to add a portfolio manager to their experienced team. The ideal candidate will provide professional and efficient technical processing, support & advice on the collation and reporting of Accounts across a broad client base from sole traders to limited companies, ensuring adherence to deadlines and processing budgets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation & production of accounts from collation and processing to report and analysis.
  • Ensure timely presentation of accounts within budget and to annual/periodic deadlines.
  • Preparation of management accounts.
  • Prepare corporation and personal tax computations.
  • Conduct client review meetings and provide timely response to client requests for support & advice.
  • Mentoring, training & supervision of employees including overseeing progress of delegated tasks.
  • Development of internal procedures and workflow efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • ACCA or ACA qualified.
  • Accountancy practice experience essential
  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Highly organised & able to work autonomously
  • Ability to mentor junior members of staff
  • Confident communicator – provide advice with regards to accounts
  • Audit experience would be an advantage
