They pride themselves on their commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accountancy Practice Manager to lead their team of accountants and support staff in their office based in Swindon. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and support staff.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of the practice, including workflow management, resource allocation, and process improvement.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage the financial performance of the practice, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and laws.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the practice.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Full Accounting Qualification required (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
  • Experience: Significant experience of working within an accounting practice within a client facing role, with experience in a Senior/managerial role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
