Rate: 275-295 per shift

Hours: 7.30 to 5pm

Job Description:

Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Principal Contractor, Fit Out, Carpentry and Joinery company who are currently looking for a Site Manager to join their team in Swindon. This commercial contract will include demolition, new build and refurbishment of an existing building.

Site Manager Key Duties:

Your role will involve:

• Own the site from day one, coordinating trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-focused delivery.
• Drive works on site to meet key milestones. Sequence trades effectively, foresee delays, and keep everything on track without compromise on finish.
• Champion best practices. Carry out inductions, maintain RAMS, and lead daily briefings and H&S audits.
• Uphold exceptional standards across all finishes. Conduct inspections and snagging to ensure compliance with design intent and client expectations.
• Act as the key site contact between subcontractors, the main contractor, and client representatives. Maintain clear communication and reporting at all times.
  

Site Manager Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• SMSTS
• First Aid
• Black CSCS Card
• Previous experience in high end commercial projects
• 1 reference on application
• Ability to commute to site reliably
