Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the waste depot, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently.

  • Manage and coordinate the team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high performance and adherence to regulations.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve waste management processes and enhance service delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

  • Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and inventory to optimize operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders to address community needs and enhance service quality.

  • Prepare and present reports on depot performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

  • Proven experience in waste management or a related field, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to drive operational improvements.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with team members, stakeholders, and the community.

  • Proficient in budget management and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations.

  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards, with a proactive approach to compliance.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
