We are looking for a Refresh Support Engineer who will be primarily based on our client's site in Swindon.
In this role you will be working in a small team supporting a PC hardware refresh to 5000 end users of a major international insurance company.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities

    • Working with the Project team to build and ship replacement hardware devices.
    • Manage the lifecycle of the builds allocated and prioritize work to effectively achieve the Project targets.
    • Keep the Project managers and deployment schedule updated throughout the length off the project.
    • Update the Asset Management when devices are deployed and received.
    • Prepare machines for Shipping including booking couriers and making sure paperwork is accurate.
    • Where necessary physically deliver devices to end users on the client site and assist with their rollout.
    • Work closely with the Asset Manager on periodic stock counts and audits of project stock.
    • Recommend improvements to Project Management and participate in the implementation of them where appropriate.

Skills / Experience

We are looking for a self-motivated team player with good technical and interpersonal skills.
You will be able to multi-task and enjoy working under pressure with tight deliverables.
You will take pride in the quality of your work and enjoy being part of a highly motivated team being able to learn new technology and skills.
Previous PC Build or Deskside experience with Windows 11
MS Excel experience
Awareness of GDPR guidelines on personal data handling.
You will need to have an eye for accuracy and be able to follow required governance processes.

Experience with any of the following will be beneficial although training will be provided,
M365, Autopilot, Intune, ServiceNow.
a full driving licence, access to a car and be able to travel to satellite locations would be desirable but not essential.
