Location: Near Swindon
Salary: Up to 65,000 + benefits

A well-established building services contractor is seeking a Mechanical Technical Services Manager specialising in Heating and pipework, to oversee mechanical service delivery across a range of commercial environments. This is a key role supporting planned maintenance, technical compliance, and project works, while providing guidance to both internal teams and clients.
The Role
- Lead and support mechanical service teams across commercial sites
- Act as the technical authority for mechanical systems including HVAC, plant rooms, hot and cold water, and heating systems
- Oversee PPM strategies and ensure statutory compliance
- Provide engineering solutions, advise on asset lifecycle plans, and support small works projects
- Conduct site audits, troubleshoot plant issues, and guide remedial actions
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring high standards of service and communication
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in mechanical building services maintenance
- Experience supervising / leading engineering teams or contractors
- Current/ previous commercial gas qualifications
- Confident in reading technical drawings, diagnosing system faults, and advising on remedial works
- An organised communicator who can balance technical detail with clear advice
