Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a supported housing operations manager on behalf of our client based in the Swindon area. The purpose of this role is to manage quality, outcome focused Supported Housing services across a locality-based portfolio directly managed services.Location: Home based however travel is involved therefore must live nearby to the Swindon areaHours: Full timeSalary: £45K plus £4385 car allowance Contract type: PermanentPlease note we will only consider candidates with 3+ years' experience as a manager within supported housing who have a driver's license and access to vehicle. Main duties and responsibilities

  • To ensure effective operational management arrangements are in place, and that service managers are delivering high performing, safe, impactful services that represent excellent quality and value for money.
  • Support effective relationship management and the identification of opportunities for internal business growth, and to ensure all housing management and compliance activities are completed. Ensure strong, collaborative, partnership working that ultimately delivers better ways of supporting customers.
  • Drive and champion a strengths-based service delivery model across all your services, promoting inclusive communities, that deliver a person-centered response, engage with local initiatives, providing opportunities for customers to participate within the service and the local community.
  • Lead, inspire and motivate teams and volunteers, driving a culture of high performance, customer centric service design, continuous improvement and support.
  • Ensure services represent value for money through management of a budget and application for diverse funding streams. Hold responsibility for all budgets within your designated area.
  • Interrogate data and insight, providing analysis and delivering resulting service impact
  • To develop strategic relationships that support the delivery of existing services and lead to the development of new services when relevant, in line with delivery of the Supported Living Growth Plan.
  • To ensure that all local and organizational Health and Safety and Compliance requirements are adhered to and there are robust procedures in place including managing and participating in an on call rota, management of risk and effective Business Continuity Planning.
