Overview:

This role focuses on managing client venue sourcing from enquiry to completion, ensuring excellent service, operational efficiency, and strong client and supplier relationships.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple venue enquiries and bookings from start to finish.
  • Handle rooming lists, catering, and client requirements ahead of events.
  • Meet deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Negotiate competitive rates with suppliers.
  • Review contracts with attention to detail.
  • Use the Gratis booking tool efficiently.
  • Ensure post-event follow-up and invoice reconciliation.
  • Support commercial efforts through commission negotiations and supplier deals.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Share product knowledge gained from site visits, events, and trade shows.
  • Represent the company at client events and engagement days.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment.

Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years in a venue sourcing or events role.
  • Knowledge of venue finding and booking systems (Gratis, Cvent - training available).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational and negotiation skills.
  • Effective communicator and team player.
  • Global destination knowledge (desirable).
