HR Administrator - Temporary Ongoing Contract

Overview

We are recruiting for an HR Administrator to join a friendly and supportive people team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience to step into a varied HR support role. This is an ongoing temporary position expected to last around 6 months.

Details:

  • £12.65 per hour
  • Contract: Temporary - approx. 6 months
  • Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • Tadcaster area
  • Hybrid working available
  • Lovely welcoming team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the full employee lifecycle
  • Manage the shared HR inbox, resolving or escalating queries as needed
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with data protection
  • Assist with recruitment administration including arranging interviews and issuing documents
  • Support absence and sickness recording and reporting
  • Prepare HR documents such as offer letters and contracts
  • Maintain training and occupational health records
  • Assist the People team with various ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Strong administrative experience, ideally within a HR or office environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Confident communicator with a proactive and flexible approach
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to manage workload and prioritise effectively in a busy setting
  • Previous HR experience is desirable but not essential
