Are you an experienced transport professional ready to take the next step in your logistics career? Our client, a market-leading B2B distribution business, is seeking a Transport Supervisor to join their dynamic team at their busy Tamworth site.

About the Role:

As a Transport Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of a fast-paced transport operation, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of goods to business customers nationwide. You'll lead a team of drivers and support staff, ensuring compliance, safety, and outstanding service levels at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily transport operations, including route planning, driver briefings, and debriefings
  • Manage and support a team of drivers, ensuring compliance with WTD, tachograph legislation, and company procedures
  • Monitor performance metrics such as on-time delivery, fuel usage, and customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure seamless end-to-end operations
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement in efficiency and service delivery
  • Maintain vehicle compliance and liaise with external maintenance providers

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within transport or logistics
  • Strong knowledge of transport legislation and driver regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
  • IT-literate with experience using transport management systems (TMS)
  • CPC qualification desirable but not essential
