We are looking for an experienced Multi skilled Operative to work on various social housing and domestic properties on a residential site in Tamworth for a leading company, mainly sited work.
Must have own vehicle to get to and from site.
Responsibilities:
- Working on a residential site
- Carrying out snagging works in occupied homes, including painting and decorating, basic plumbing, carpentry and assisting in adjustments on doors and additional tasks wherever required.
- Must have your own tools and PPE.
Experience within Domestic social housing, or care homes or similar etc.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Multi skilled operative.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
- Experience with second fix carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, or fabrication is a plus
Skills:
- Proficient in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, and levels
- Familiarity with power tools such as drills, sanders, and routers
- Ability to plumb walls and structures accurately
- Has other multi skills such as Painting and Decorating, Basic Plumbing, basic plastering etc.
- Knowledge of assembling and disassembling structures using appropriate techniques
- Must be physically fit.
Ideally have NVQ in Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent.
Must have CSCS Card.
Pay & Hours :
- £160 per day - 4 weeks and potentially ongoing from there.
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week.
- Residential Sited work
