Butler Rose is supporting an innovative Taunton based business to hire a Financial Controller
The role encompasses full-cycle accounting, detailed financial reporting, and operational process enhancement, ensuring compliance with technical accounting standards and best practices across the Group.
Responsibilities:
- Support Group FD with performance-driven insight via management reporting & analysis
- oversee daily reporting & transactional ops.
- Advise on statutory, regulatory, policy & contractual compliance.
- Own Group accounts, statutory filings, deadlines & VAT returns.
- Conduct financial analysis.
- lead on Group audit.
- Enhance reporting quality & time lines.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial & management.
- Lead, manage & develop Group Finance team & reporting function.
- Support annual budget & re forecasting cycles.
The successful candidate is likely to be fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent, with excellent communication skills and previous experience gained in a finance leadership position ideally.
