Candidates must hold a recognised Assessor award and have recent experience delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, along with senior-level occupational competency in the field.
Essential skills include good ICT proficiency and the ability to support learners with Maths and English Functional Skills, along with a full clean driving licence.
The role involves assessing and supporting learners, managing documentation, and meeting Assessor KPIs while providing motivation and overcoming barriers to learning.

Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA
Must have up and running/recent experience of delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships.
Hold occupational competency in Residential Childcare at Senior level or above.
Must have a good level of ICT skills
Confident to support learners with Maths and English Functional Skills if required.
Happy to conduct online remote assessments - and face to face when required
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare up to Level 5 (depending on competency), including Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
