Our client, a well-established accountancy practice is seeking a full-time Accountant to join their friendly, growing team. This role offers variety across accounts preparation, tax, and bookkeeping for a diverse client base, providing an excellent opportunity to deepen your practice experience in a supportive environment.

Accountant - Accountancy Practice
Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies from incomplete records.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Complete self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns.
- Assist with monthly bookkeeping and management accounts.
- Support clients with Capital Gains Tax calculations and submissions.
- Liaise with clients and HMRC as required to resolve queries promptly.
Accountant - Accountancy Practice
Requirements
- AAT qualified (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice environment.
- Proficient in cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Ability to work to deadlines while managing multiple client priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use initiative while working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Committed to maintaining client confidentiality at all times.
