Operations AdministratorTelford12 month fixed term contractSalary: Up to £28,500 Depending on experienceWe are currently recruiting for an Operations Administrator to join our valued client based in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing and supportive team where your contribution will play a key role in the smooth running of the business.The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Operations Team, assisting with day-to-day coordination, document management, and internal communication to ensure everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.Main Tasks and Responsibilities Include:
  • Diary management and administrative support for the Head of Operations
  • Organising meetings, booking rooms, and arranging refreshments
  • Managing invoices, raising purchase orders on SAP, and liaising with suppliers
  • Overseeing general office tasks including filing, archiving, and stationary orders
  • Maintaining digital filing systems and updating site notice boards
  • Supporting audits and preparing relevant documentation
  • Managing time and attendance records and the team holiday planner
  • Acting as a communication link between corporate and site operations
  • Handling incoming calls and general enquiries
To be a successful Operations Administrator, we’re looking for:
  • Highly proficient in numeracy and literacy, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organisational abilities
  • Experience using SAP is highly advantageous
  • Able to work on own initiative 
  • Confident in building strong working relationships at all levels 
  • Proven experience supporting a wide range of administrative duties in a dynamic and busy setting
